My photo
Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands
After 35 years as an officer with the Tulsa Police Department, I retired & took a year contract job with the Kwajalein Police Dept. The wife, Scott stayed home to take care of the places and all the critters, while I headed off for my year in a tropical paradise. I am at 90% contract complete now and planning my return to the real world. I have had an amazing time and hope that you enjoy the Atoll, through my Blog. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about my time on the Rock.

Now I am an official “Roi-Rat”, what people who live on this island are called. We even have Roi-Rat radio that we broadcast. Of course that is the only station that can be picked up and it fades out on the island edges. Went to “SpeedBall” (ocean side) and had a great dive. The waves were gentle but we anchored close to the reef and could see some big waves crashing over it. As always ocean dives have better visibility and bigger fish. This dive had sharks everywhere along with many barracudas and a large mean looking dogfish, a large Humphead Wrasse an assortment of other fish.

Dove on ship #1, “Eiko Maru” which is a good size ship and visibility was the best! These dives were with DJ & Jeremy.
